STAGE FOR UKRAINE
MISSION & HISTORY
We are a group of theater directors working and teaching in Ukraine who decided to return to Italy to create a safe space for Ukrainian theater students fleeing war.
#stage4ukraine is a project aimed at bringing together Italian and Ukrainian artists and students in order to continue drama training and theatrical education, and to establish an International Theater Company that will give voice to Ukrainian culture and traditions.

Matteo Spiazzi
Matteo Spiazzi is an Italian director and drama teacher. He has been collaborating with Ukraine since 2019, in particular with the Academic Left bank Theatre “Drami i Comedi” of Kyiv and with the National Operetta Theatre of Kyiv.
