Mission

With this project we want to support the education of Ukranian students of the Kyiv National University of Theatre Cinema and Tv - named after I.K Karpenko-Karyi - and the Circus Academy of Dramatic Arts. The goal is to allow them to continue studying in Italy after the interruption caused by the war.

The project, according to the deans of the academies, is for students over 16 years old.

In particular, the project aims to create a University Campus in order to enable students of the two Drama Schools to keep studying arts in a safe place. The Campus consists of Villa Buri mansion in Verona, which is managed by the Villa Buri Onlus Association. The mansion can host up to 50 people.

Classes will be held at the Teatro Astra of San Giovanni Lupatoto, where students and artists can practice on stage. This will become the Academy Theater.

The project was made in collaboration with University of Verona, the Academy of Dramatic Arts “Nico Pepe” of Udine, the association Altri Posti in Piedi, and the A.S.D “Les Petits Pas”.

Participation in this project is completely free and includes classes, training, meals and accommodation.
